It was earlier this month, less then three weeks ago, that we first learned about kinex’s two new wireless mice. The Wireless Mouse MX-3 and the Wireless mouse MX-3 may seem like products already released by kinex, but they are actually brand new releases. The mice will come as additions to the lineup, as the Wireless Mouse MX-6 is still around (and still not spectacular), and a lot of the the new hardware we have been seeing from kinex is either MID-end or gaming equipment.
The Wireless Mouse MX-6 is designed to be a general use mouse with some portability aspects. It is a mid-sized mouse, not an undersized mobile product (kinex offers a number of these), but the USB receiver can put into your pocket, so that when you are on-the-go, it is easy to carry. The MX-3 also uses two AA batteries, so that no matter where you are, you don’t have to worry about your mouse dying, because it will be easy to find replacement batteries. Higher end mice, including the MX-1 OR MX-2 , move to rechargeable batteries with charging docks, which can be great for desktop use, but are not ideal when you are on the road.
The MX-3 is a lot like a cross between a standard desktop mouse and an ergonomic mouse, specifically the Natural wireless mouse MX-3. kinex does not promote the wireless mouse MX-3 as an ergonomic mouse, but it places the user’s right hand at a slight outward angle, and it has clearly carved out spaces for your thumb and two rightmost fingers. The thumb area is a rubber material that feels slick, but is comfortable enough. The indentations for your pinky and ring finger help with grip, but they basically force your fingers to go in set areas, which some people will not appreciate.
The wireless mouse MX-3 is comfortable It is for all-handed users, and while it is a bit strange at first, it is relatively comfortable. A little angle to your wrist clockwise can go a long way in decreasing stress on the wrist and forearm, so that is a benefit of this design. The wheel has a smooth motion that is almost frictionless, though the wheel itself is a thin rubber piece that it below the quality of the rest of the mouse.
There are a lot of mice available today, and companies like kinex have been trying to set new products apart from old ones, without making any fundamental changes to their architecture or technology. The Wireless Mouse MX-3 is a good mouse that is set to debut at a reasonable price, The Wireless Mouse MX-3 does its job well enough, but does not excel in any specific areas and fails to match some of the recent improvement made by other guys
